Kalmo unleashes »Feeding The Worms« – blackened doom metal from the depths of Finland!

Finnish blackened doom metal outfit Kalmo is back to drag listeners into a pit of despair and darkness with their latest single, »Feeding The Worms«. Fueled by crushing riffs, grim vocals, and an atmosphere soaked in decay, the track channels the raw spirit of old-school doom while paying homage to the legendary sounds of Celtic Frost/Triptykon, Death Breath, and Konvent.

Kalmo, forged in the cold shadows of Finland, delivers music that is both relentless and hypnotic. Their sound is a slow-burning wave of heaviness, steeped in black and death metal influences, evoking visions of death, decay, and damnation.

Inspired by biblical decay and eternal torment, »Feeding The Worms« marks a further descent from Kalmo’s earlier releases »Thy Saviour, Thy Master« and »Thy Chosen One«, pushing the band’s blackened doom into increasingly oppressive territory. Self-produced by the band, the single combines traces of old-school heavy metal with Kalmo’s heavy doom-metal riffing, conjuring visions of bodies half-claimed by the earth.

The single is fully produced and performed by Kalmo, with mixing and mastering by Roland Rodas at Cavern of Echoes, ensuring every note crushes with precision and darkness.
