Iron Corpse is honored and proud to announce the debut album of Oulu-born death doom band Mädätys, who released their first and much acclaimed demo back in 2022.
With »Kuoleman Ulottuvuudet« (“Dimensions Of Death”), Mädätys descend deep into the abyss of Finnish death doom. Drawing inspiration from the cold, uncompromising legacy of pioneers like Rippikoulu, the band forges a sound that is both crushingly heavy and hauntingly atmospheric.
The album moves at a deliberate, suffocating pace, where cavernous riffs, mournful melodies, and oppressive rhythms collide. Each track feels like a slow march through shadowed realms, balancing raw death metal weight with the solemn, funeral-like doom.
