Shedfromthebody is an independent one-woman doomgaze project helmed by multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Suvi Savikko.

Known for her unique fusion of doom metal, dark folk, goth, and early 2000s alternative rock, Savikko continues to push the boundaries of the “post-doom” landscape. The new album »We Fly Into Windows« delivers a meditative yet relentless wall of sound – metaphorically described by underground music critics as the sound of concrete cracking under pressure – while remaining anchored by her signature airy and mesmerizing vocal delivery.

Active since 2018, the Helsinki-based artist has steadily built a reputation as a distinct underground voice through a prolific string of self-produced releases, including her 2020 debut »A Dead And Aimless Hum«, 2021’s »To Hold The Ripened Sun«, and her critically acclaimed late-2025 record »Everything Out There Has Teeth«. Deeply influenced by her roots in visual art, Savikko maintains total creative control over the sonic and aesthetic landscapes of her work.

»We Fly Into Windows« is out on streaming and Bandcamp October 22nd, 2026!
