Lord Gravehill, a continuation of Finnish epic doom metal outfit Majesty, is back with »Majesty Archives II: Earthbound«, which was just released on September 15th, 2023.

Lord Gravehill comments: “It’s finally out! The album that was supposed to be Majesty debut album. Recorded in 1997 and supposed to be released the same year. But alas, things happened and here we are 26 years later.”

“»Majesty Archives II: Earthbound« is out on September 15th! »Earthbound« was supposed to be the debut Majesty album but it never got released because the label manager simply disappeared. So the album has waited for release since 1997 and only a couple of people have ever heard it.” he added.

90s doom metal band Majesty has resurrected as Lord Gravehill. The 20 year hiatus in between has only strengthened the doomy resolve. 2022 sees the release of both new Lord Gravehill material and also digital re-releases on old Majesty releases, including previously unreleased debut album »Earthbound«.

Lord Gravehill is Marko Mikael Hautamäki (ex-Majesty, Two Witches, Warlock Megaton, Chaos Research).
