Helsinki, Finland based industrial/doom metal act Dark Komet has released a music video for the second single »Only Frozen Reality« taken from their new EP, »Ghost Of Silver Light«, whichjust dropped today, May 1st, 2026.

Finnish industrial/doom metal band Dark Komet has released their new EP »Ghost Of Silver Light«. The second single from the release, »Only Frozen Reality«, was launched alongside the EP with a music video, which you can watch HERE.

The EP draws its themes from cosmic nihilism: time, meaninglessness, and life as a phenomenon without purpose on a universal scale. »Ghost Of Silver Light« builds a cold and alienating soundscape where crushing riffs and industrial beats merge into a hypnotic whole.

Dark Komet offers no comfort – only a glimpse into a reality where meaning is an illusion and existence itself is a contradiction.

The EP was released on May Day 2026 and is available on all major digital music platforms. You can listen to the release on Bandcamp or on Spotify.

The EP was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Studio Happokatu between 2025 and 2026.
