Last month M-Theory Audio was proud to announce the signing of Finnish melodic death/gothic metal force Endless Chain and to release the single/video for »Fade To Nothingness«.
Today, we bring you the next preview »Down« – a new single/video online now created by Winter Notes Production – which goes deeper into the band’s sorrow-filled, emotional material laced with the dark backbone between the rhythms of Samuli Mikkonen and harsh vocals of bassist Aki Salonen’s complimenting the melodic melancholy of vocalist Ville Hovi.
”This song combines a heavy, melancholic atmosphere with Ville Hovi’s powerful lyrics and expressive vocals. It was the first song written for the album and helped set the direction for the entire record,” explains guitarist Timo Mölsä.
While singer Ville Hovi describes the inspiration behind the lyrics, “It’s a desperate plea to the universe to tell us what the meaning of life is when nothing seems to matter.”
