Finnish post-metallers Sees release second single »Silmän tottuessa pimeään« from their upcoming album

Tampere, Finland based post-metal outfit Sees share new single and lyric video »Silmän tottuessa pimeään«. This is the second single taken from Sees’ upcoming album, »Suoja«, set to release later this year.

Tampere-based post-metal band Sees have released their second single from the forthcoming album »Suoja«, out later this year. Dropping on January 30th, »Silmän tottuessa pimeään« (“As the Eye Adjusts to the Darkness”) follows last year’s debut release “Vuolle”.

The track is a slow-burning, hypnotic closer that blends crushing heaviness with moments of fragile calm. Alongside Ville Ylinen’s intense vocal delivery, the song also features cleaner expression and guest vocals from Iina Kyttänen (Aida).

Lyrically, the song explores themes of time, mortality, and limitation through their signature abstract and poetic lens – while also hinting at the direction of Sees’ evolving sound.

Formed in 2024 by seasoned musicians (Surut, Junktone, Skein, Vala, and Pofony), Sees’ debut album was produced by Tuomas Kokko (Sara, Swallow The Sun, Ghost Brigade, Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus).
