Danakil Heat is a groovy stoner band from Helsinki formed in 2022. The band lineup consists of Shaun (vocals), Timm (guitar, backing vocals), Olli (bass) and Joonas (drums). The members are from across the globe: Singapore, Germany and Finland. The band is influenced by a variety of genres, such as garage rock, psychedelic, groove metal, hardcore and punk.

With their new EP »Life On The Green Planet«, they are ready to start tearing up the local scene. The EP is released on all major streaming platforms with an accompanying music video for the song »Back To The Fire«. The band has played some gigs around the Helsinki area and are looking forward to playing more shows in the future.

The songs get their lyrical influences from cosmic themes, dystopian futures and everyday life struggles. Although these seem like heavy topics, we don’t take things too seriously.
