The debut album from the blackened doom group Thod, »Asklepios«, was released on February 17, 2023 via Wormholedeath. The album features mall touches of saxophone, EWI, theremin, and other unusual instruments that give the music an eerie vibe. Harsh German vocals contribute to the bleak atmosphere.

Sudden as a disease outbreak, Thod seems to hail out of nowhere. The band was created in 2018 by Vinz (guitars, bass, drums) and Alex (lyrics, vocals). Sagging, distorted riffs are complemented by sick croaking vocals and pounding drums. Daniel adds tormented touches of saxophone and EWI while applying his magical Brushes & Scissors to finalize the band’s unique sound. Thod, one riff, one disease, one song!
