L’Ordalie Noire are proud to welcome Cornucopia to the label’s roster and thus broaden our horizons!
Cornucopia is a doom metal band from Nantes, driven by heavy, incisive riffs, slow to mid-tempo tempos, and a robust rock groove.
A direct heir to traditional Doom, the band draws its influences from Pentagram, Saint Vitus, and early Cathedral, delivering a massive, dark, and resolutely authentic sound.
Designed to be powerful and direct, Cornucopia’s music prioritizes physical impact, hypnotic repetition, and a raw production that highlights the effectiveness of the riffs.

The deep, soulful vocals blend seamlessly into an oppressive atmosphere, devoid of artifice or embellishment.
With EP releases such as »The Reaper«, »Less Mercy & More Volume«, and »The Midnight Hour«, Cornucopia has established itself as a solid and uncompromising doom metal band, tailor-made for live performance and faithful to the genre’s original spirit.
