French instrumental noise/math-rock trio Vantre release a live performance video for »Fart In A Jar« from their new EP »Treehopper (Vol.3)«
Paris, France based instrumental noise/math-rock trio Vantre has released a live performance video for the track »Fart In A Jar« from their new EP, »Treehopper (Vol.3)«, out on April 14th, 2023. »This is the third and final chapter of their »Treehopper« trilogy, which will be also available on CD via Forbidden Place Records.
Says the band: “We present »Fart In A Jar«, the first of two tracks recorded live by Vantre at Mémoire Mécanique Studio. Pounding drums, two massive basses and a saxophone up to its eyeballs on crazy effects, combine into an absolutely devastating mixture of math-rock and noise.”

Vantre is a power trio formed by 2 basses and a drummer in early 2020 in Île-de-France. The band is composed of Damiano Signorelli on bass (earth), Yann Le Tallec on bass (air) and Côme Huveline on drums.
Starting from stoner and noise influences mixed with metal, the 3 musicians took advantage of the periods of confinement in 2020 to create and blossom artistically, not forbidding themselves any sound and rhythmic exploration.
Rid of the language barrier, the project feeds on human absurdities and proposes a creative universe in constant evolution.

The adventure starts with a trilogy: »Treehopper«, a sequence of 3 EPs of 3 tracks. Volume n°1 is available since April 18, 2022 on all streaming platforms.
The second chapter, »Treehopper (Vol.2)« is available since October 14, 2022 accompanied by an eccentric live session of the entire EP directed by @Giniusa_ (Carla Costanza).
The third and last chapter of »Treehopper« will be available on streaming platforms on April 14, 2023, it will also be accompanied by a live session directed by Clément Sautet at the Mécanique Mémoire studio in Grenoble, the band will play 2 tracks with guest saxophonist Renan Richard-Kobel.
Vantre will perform at the Cirque Electrique (Paris) on April 21st for a Release Party signed En veux-tu? En v’là!
The track »Kuato« is part of the compilation »Escape To Weird Mountain« released in physical and digital form in January 2023 by the American independent label Forbidden Place Record, which also plans a physical (CD) and digital version of »Treehopper« uniting the 3 volumes.
