With »Too Much Ain’t Enough«, French quartet Critical Pint push the gauge exactly where they like it: towards the critical point between intensity and excess.
The new single delivers the band’s self-described “Loud Rock” in its most concentrated form – massive riffs, raw energy and the heat of 1970s hard rock dragged through the thick, heavy textures of stoner rock.
Its pressure is musical and emotional. »Too Much Ain’t Enough« evokes the kind of relationship that begins as an obvious connection before gradually taking up all the available space. Attraction becomes dependence; intensity becomes overload – and the song keeps tightening its grip without searching for an easy release.
After »Redemption« and »What A Big Question«, this third single of 2026 further sharpens Critical Pint’s identity: immediate enough to hit on first contact, heavy enough to leave a mark, and always written with the stage in mind.

Formed in Chambéry in 2017, Critical Pint brew together the swagger of 1970s hard rock and the dense textures of stoner rock under one banner: Loud Rock.
Neither hard rock nor stoner. Both at once.
Across their debut EP »Just A Drop«, the 2023 album »Thirst Of All« and nearly one hundred live performances, the quartet have developed a direct, robust sound whose full weight is designed to be experienced onstage.
Their journey has already taken them to events including Hellfest Le Off, Ours en Scène, Voolstock Festival and, in June 2026, the forecourt of Lyon’s Groupama Stadium during Linkin Park’s concert date.
Following a year of artistic development at the Les Abattoirs venue and a sustained sequence of concerts and new releases, Critical Pint are now entering their most active chapter yet.
