Tours, France based noise/post-rock trio Oöhna Call is gearing up to release their new album »Bauerngarten« on November 15th, 2024.

After a first EP (»Hidden«) and a first album (»Mimesis«), Oöhna Call is back with a new album that is much more concise and direct than its predecessor.

Recorded in two days live, »Bauerngarten« marks a clear evolution in the sound of Oöhna Call with, on the one hand, the arrival of Alexis on drums, and on the other hand, a more noisy and rock playing than before, still supported by hypnotic and captivating loops and synthesizer layers.

In reference to Gustav Klimt’s painting, the 5 new instrumental pieces of »Bauerngarten« each bear the name of a flower and compose a musical bouquet with rich and varied sounds.

Formed in 2019 by the Ilharragorry brothers, who have already been heard in the noise-rock band Weeping Minds Of Silence or the dark-rock project Kraken Oxen, Oöhna Call was born following the premature end of their former instrumental project Kenosha Bird.

Despite everything, they decided to continue by starting from scratch alongside drummer Matthieu Couffrant who will accompany them until 2022. He will then be replaced by Alexis.

Oöhna Call’s music aims to take the listener on a journey by mixing noise rock sounds, hypnotic atmospheres and airy melodies. Each new recording is an opportunity for them to push the experimentation a little further, »Bauerngarten« being no exception to this rule.
