French/Norwegian doom metal duo Buskas releases their debut single »Desiderium«

French/Norwegian doom metal duo Buskas has just released their debut single »Desiderium« on January 1st, 2024.

»Desiderium« is also included on Forbidden Place Records annual mixtape compilation »Escape To Weird Mountain Vol. 9«, available on CD and digital format at the label’s Bandcamp.

Buskas is a French/Norwegian duo that was formed in the summer of 2022. Asbear (bass) and Romain (drums) have since recorded music in Taakeheimen Studio with Jørgen Ø Berg behind the mixing board.

The sound Buskas makes can be described as “Shaman doom from the void”, with heavy down-tuned bass guitar, and a very heavy drum set, where gloomy mood and distant dreams go hand in hand through the soundscape. From chilling calm tracks to heavy atmospheric fuzz riffs, with both clean and intense vocals.

The band also has a fondness for Matamp amplifiers and extra-large bass drums that ensure that the low frequencies kick off so it punches hard throughout the cosmos.
