“Hear their roar coming from the woods. An enormous pack of wolves is heading your way. Follow the tracks and let the sound guide you through the wilderness.”

ORS is a French progressive rock band with some hints of metal, doom, and many other flavors here and there.

The band made their musical debut on September 1, 2016 with the release of their self-titled album. Known for their rich, layered instrumentation and atmospheric arrangements, the group balances complex progressive rock structures with cinematic themes.

Exactly ten years after their debut, the band released their highly anticipated second full-length album, »Grey To Gold To Tears«, on September 1, 2026.

The concept and writing phase for »Grey To Gold To Tears« began back in 2017. The band released the first half of the project as a 4-track EP (»Grey To Gold To Tears – Part 1«) in December 2023 before completing and releasing the full definitive album in late 2026.

The album serves as a deep thematic homage to David Lynch’s cult television series, Twin Peaks. Written during the broadcast of Twin Peaks: The Return (Season 3), ORS designed the album to reflect the show’s mysterious, eerie, and dualistic nature musically, lyrically, and visually.

Says the band: “This is it, it happened, our second album is now available on Bandcamp and YouTube! It took us a good 10 years, but we can say we are insanely proud of it, and we hope you will enjoy it. If you want to get into the lyrics, well, first of all sorry it’s in three langages, but also it’s fully about Twin Peaks, so if like us you’re in love with this series/movie/world, that’s another argument to dive deep! See you in 25 years.”
