French psychedelic stoner rockers Maanen Faces stream their debut EP »Damned And Doomed«; out now on digipack CD and digital!

Nantes, France based psychedelic stoner rockers Maanen Faces have just released their debut EP »Damned And Doomed« on May 17th, 2024.

Maanen Faces is a rock band from Nantes (France) formed in 2021. Influenced by groups like Electric Wizard, The Black Angels, Sonic Youth, Deftones, King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, Idles, O Sees, Maanen Faces juggles with codes of stoner and psyche to deliver a powerful and heavy rock.

These Selenians stranded on Earth describe, with their songs, the survival despite all the affronts to life and the dignity of the being, whatever it may be. Without an ounce of morality, they speak about fear, anger, compassion, despair, inevitability, injustice and indignation. They evoke violent behaviours or feelings generated by passion or excess of power. It’s mystical but without god, it’s tragic but still alive. Their spectral voices then become a nebulous gateway that attempts to illuminate a chaotic world.
