Since 2015, Sycomore has been playing a protean brand of metal, with four albums to their credit and around a hundred shows across France. Formed in Amiens, the band was founded by Tim Drelon (guitar, vocals), Guillaume Maillard (drums), and Guillaume “Desta” Destalminil (bass, vocals). For ten years, this lineup allowed the band to evolve between sludge metal, noise rock, and post-hardcore. The trio has shared the stage with Will Haven, Coilguns, Hangman’s Chair, Oxbow, Sumac, Nostromo, and Jessica93. Their albums have been released on various labels such as Source Atone Records, Argonauta Records, and Uproar For Veneration. Currently, the band is working on a new album and now includes a new bassist, Romain Caron (Mandibula, John Makay).
