Recorded, mixed and mastered by Vincenzu Lota at Atom Studio, Biguglia.
Artwork by Antoine-Joseph Marini.
Alconaut formed in 2016 in Bastia, Corsica by Antoine-Joseph Marini (drums), Georges Agostini (guitars, vocals, harmonica) and Kevin Albertini (bass).
The group started playing at that time group covers which were generally in the stoner such as Sleep, Fu Manchu, The Sword, Mars Red Sky etc… After making some concerts, the group wanted to go further and began to compose and bring everyone’s influences together to realize their first album entitled »Sand Turns To Tides«, the trio extends a relatively inspired universe of everything in the stoner in general, thanks to the compositions, illustrations and design produced by one of the group’s members.
Alconaut acquires complete and immersive imagery that allows the listener to find a universe fantastic, we will find colossal mastodons hammering the dunes of a desert transported by a sand whale or a furious biker crossing with speed mountains of this world but a theme that is set in front is that of the Alconaut (found in the song »Space Controller«) which is a space explorer searching the universe every alcoholic drink that exists.
Alconaut is:
Georges Agostini – Guitar / Vocals
Kevin Albertini – Bass
Antoine-Joseph Marini – Drums
