German alternative rockers Digital Carbs share new single and music video »Head In The Clouds«

Munich, Germany based alternative rockers Digital Carbs have recently released new single and music video »Head In The Clouds«, available now on all major streaming platforms.

»Head In The Clouds« is the first single taken from the band’s upcoming album entitled »Oh Hedonism«.

Between dream and reality, between intimacy and alienation, between gray mining towns and a society fat on digital carbs. Digital Carbs are a rock band from Munich, Germany that fuses elements of psychedelic, indie and progressive rock to create their unique sound.

With one album and two EPs in their repertoire, the quartet didn’t rest in 2025 either, channeling all their energy into a new full-length album, which will be released this fall. Their latest single »Up And Away« is a collaboration with the Berlin based Atomic Fruit, and is a mesmerizing blend of dissonance and beauty, with some trumpets and fuzz bass on the side.

»Head In The Clouds« mixes the familiar “carbsian” dystopia with radical surrealism. Is it daydreaming or an escape from reality when the fish fly toward the sun and the groundhogs bury you alive? Abysses on all sides, but at least with a good view of glowing billboards. Initially beautifully adorned, the musical canvases are soon torn apart in madness. It remains a back-and-forth, both emotionally and compositionally, which has become something of a trademark for the group. Back on tour this fall with Atomic Fruit!
