The Infernal Sound Of Light, a post-metal trio hailing from northern Germany, return with their new album »Into The Bowels Of Light« – another descent into the darker, more experimental edges of their sound. Building on their mournful, avant-garde approach, the album pushes their distinctive blend of crushing heaviness, improvised passages, dissonant noise and fractured melodies even further. Broken chords scream, textures shimmer and moments of overwhelming intensity collide with passages of unsettling beauty.
