German doom metal band Mirror Of Deception return with their sixth full-length album, »Transience«, scheduled for release on March 27th, 2026 via Estuarial Records on CD, LP and cassette tape.

Everything is finite. Everything is transient.

Everyone and everything we love, need, want, protect, take for granted, as well as everything we reject, fight against, fear, hate, everything that hurts, threatens or harms us has a limited time, an expiry date. Some things will outlive us. Others end abruptly. Everything is temporary. A moment in time.

What remains is the will to make the best of it – however long it lasts.

Mirror of Deception is a doom metal band, formed in 1990 in south-west Germany. It has been a long and eventful journey that led to a mature sound with an unmistakable character. Seven and a half years after »The Estuary«, the sixth album »Transience« will be released on the 27th of March 2026.

Like its predecessor, it was recorded with Michelle Darkness (End Of Green) at the mixing desk and will be released on the band’s own label.
