»Wearer Of Numerous Forms« is by far our largest body of work yet. Adding Hendrik ‘Brede’ Bredemann on trumpet, we now as a four-piece, crafted an intense, cinematic journey through never seen before land- and soundscapes and are taking you all along the three final chapters of this mythological story arch. 🦐
Recorded live at the Tonmeisterei in Oldenburg, Germany, in only five days, this challenging record shows us taking our simplistic, riff-heavy and monumental approach to doom with great freedom and exploring time and space within the framework we crafted for ourselves in the past years. The album was recorded mixed and mastered by Roland ‘Role’ Wiegner. 🌟
For the visualization of Eremit 3 we worked together with a wide variety and astonishing line of visual artists from the USA, Spain, Poland and Germany: Adam Burke (oil cover painting), Maxwell Aston (additional line of four aquarelle paintings and additional sigil illustrations), Hagiophobic (world map and illustrations) as well as BlocSanchez and Dariusz Kieliszek for character design and scene illustrations. 🐛
Eremit on this album is:
Moritz Fabian – guitar, vocals, lore, art-direction
Pascal ‘Kalle’ Sommer – guitar
Marco Baecker – drums
Hendrik ‘Brede’ Bredemann – trumpet
This record has been in the making for years and it is a special moment for us now, to release, reveal, share these three epic chapters with all of you!
The cycle of the water hermit Umno finds its end with this record. Things are ending. And it’s now up to you, to walk through these estranged places; to follow along the last chapters of Umno.. 🌑
May we learn from it.
Together in this.
All Swords Burn. 🗡🌙
