Munich, Germany based doom/sludge metal trio Raging Sloth has released a full live video of their performance at Winter Grief Festival 2026.

“Heavy distopian sounds in the realm of sludge & doom metal.”

The sound cosmos of the doom & sludge band Raging Sloth, founded in Munich in 2018, is an ominous mixture of heavy, oppressive walls of sound and frenzied, hard groove riffs. The trio sees themselves in the tradition of the “great old ones” of the genre.

In addition to numerous shows across Europe the band has gained momentum with performances alongside acts such as Ufomammut, Ahab, Valborg, Neànder, Thronehammer and Oreyeon, as well as appearances at festivals such as the Keep It Low.

In September 2023, Raging Sloth released their debut EP »The Descent«, recorded with producer Jan Oberg (Earth Ship, Grin) in Berlin and mastered by Magnus Lindberg (Cult Of Luna). The album received widespread critical acclaim, earning top ratings. A subsequent release tour featured over 20 concerts, further solidifying their rising presence in the doom metal underground scene.
