Pilotinthepicture’s debut album »While We Escape« moves between melancholic psychedelia, doomgaze heaviness and progressive rock, blending quiet, atmospheric verses with powerful, explosive choruses.

The new single »Run« captures this dynamic in 4:56 minutes, haunting, psychedelic passages collide with a driving chorus and socially critical lyrics about escape. With its emotional intensity and shifting soundscapes, Pilotinthepicture calls the style “post-progressive rock”.

Featuring the beautiful, clear voice of Josefine Winter, the album’s powerful sound was shaped by Siegmar Pohl. The cover artwork was created by Matthias Stork, with portraits of Wolfram Zarnack photographed by Kerstin Rose.
