German heavy rock/stoner trio Driptorch share new music video for the track »We Are Them«!

Nürnberg, Germany based heavy rock/stoner trio Driptorch has released new music video for the track »We Are Them« from their debut full-length album, »Deadrock City Nights«, out on January 23rd, 2023.

Heavy rock tracts groovy metal that gets a hard hit from sister core!

Driptorch from Nuremberg don’t run after any post or melodic trends, but drive a clear guitar board all by themselves! Recently, they have shared the stage with Truckfighters, Dozer, 1000mods, Beehover, Desert Storm, Bonfire, and many more.

At the beginning of 2015, the long-time friends decided to start a new music project together. Dando and Candy come from the punk rock/hardcore corner and already played together in a punk rock band before Driptorch. Mando came from the death and heavy metal scene and made the joint project interesting. Due to the opposites of the genres mentioned, a certain reorientation in songwriting emerged here. The band is united above all by their love of music and their common musical taste. Bands like Clutch, Year long Disaster, Crowbar, Corrosion of conformity or Motörhead were decisive for the creation of Driptorch.

The line-up of the band is a bit unusual, as you won’t find a bass on stage. The band spent more than 2 years trying to find a bass player who could fit into the band structure both humanly and musically, but without success. 3 bassists later they decided to continue in the founding formation and to try themselves out in the sound and sample area… and here we are!!!

Today’s age is brilliant for completely rearranging classic rules, combinations and styles. Driptorch manages to bring a pressing board on stage even without a classical line-up but with dedication to analogue tube technology and sound affinity.
