German instrumental doom/post-metal band A Ghost In Rags release a brand new single »Aithon«

Freiburg, Germany based instrumental doom/post-metal band A Ghost In Rags stream a brand new single »Aithon«, released on February 13th, 2026.

A Ghost In Rags have been playing instrumental post-metal since 2018. The band combines classic post-rock with powerful doom parts, black metal riffs and sludge elements. At their live performances, they take the audience into a wide-ranging musical spectrum, whereby the band knows how to break out of frequently used song structures and gives the music space and time to unfold.

Says the band: “Here is our new song, »Aithon« released on Bandcamp.

Since the theme of nature and humanity’s confrontation with it has strongly influenced both of our albums »Akarano« and »Solfatara«, we decided to release the song as part of a fundraiser for Sea Shepherd, as they stand for what we believe is worth supporting in order to at least slightly counteract the exploitation of the oceans by humanity.
