Darmstadt, Germany based instrumental neo psych/krautrock outfit Lucid Void has released their self-titled debut album on May 19th, 2023 via Sound Of Liberation Records.

The exciting young instrumental neo psych/kraut band Lucid Void presents their long-awaited first self-titled album via Sound Of Liberation Records.

Lucid Void captivate with their unique melodies, rhythmic diversity and a drive that takes the listener into other spheres. The sounds on this record range from gentle trippy and trance-like passages to passionate and heavy climaxes.

The four musicians combine influences of modern psych-rock with experimental elements reminiscent of the early electronic sounds of krautrock.

The album is rich in cross-references to krautrock legends such as NEU! as well as modern heavy psych legends like Causa Sui and All Them Witches, but also full of unique ideas and interesting details. In addition, Lucid Void prove once again with this record that it doesn’t necessarily take singing to create catchy tunes.
