Aralez is a metal band from Dresden, Germany, blending doom, psychedelic, and progressive elements with Oriental influences. Formed in 2012 by three Germans and Armenian singer Margarita, their music draws on mythology and history. With three albums and an engaging live presence, Aralez delivers emotional depth, and a unique sound.

Aralez says about their new release »Illusion«:

“We are proud to announce that our new, fourth album »Illusion« is finally ready.

For this release we have recorded five of our favourite songs: »Sanity«, »Beauty Of The Dark«, »Illusion«, »Shameless« and »13.11«. These tracks, which we have performed live for some time, are now available for everyone who has not yet had the chance to experience them on stage. Among them, »Beauty Of The Dark« stands out as the longest piece on the album – a double-parted song that unfolds with particular depth. We even added some beautiful cello parts, which suit the mood of the song perfectly.

The music moves between dark, doomy and progressive – heavy metal, blending these styles into a cohesive sound. Clean female vocals form the core of the songs, complemented by occasional screams.
»Illusion« is a record best enjoyed on a quiet, dark evening – a glass of wine or brandy in hand – letting the music carry you away.

We began working on this release in March and are now delighted to finally share it with you. We welcome all thoughtful and constructive feedback.

We hope these songs will stay with you and that you enjoy listening to them as much as we enjoyed creating them.

Special Thanks to the Studio of Florian Simon, Johann von Ruthendorf for his awesome cello sound, Dirk Pögen for his background speaking.”
