Progressive post-metal four-piece Bipolar Architecture has unveiled »Vanity Fair«, the first single from their upcoming third studio album, »The Worrier«, set for release on February 19,2027, via Pelagic Records.

Based on John Bunyan’s »The Pilgrim’s Progress«, »Vanity Fair« unfolds as an allegorical tale of condemnation, blending brutal chugging riffs, soaring melodies and explosive percussion with lamenting clean vocals and rasping howls. Shifting between hypnotic catchiness, macabre breakdowns and quieter passages, the track draws listeners in before striking with raw power, while maintaining relentless momentum. »Vanity Fair« is released alongside a brand new music video, which you can watch HERE.

Co-existing between Berlin and Istanbul, Bipolar Architecture fuse post-metal, djent and black metal into a sound rooted in a tension between brutality and melody, weight and atmosphere, capturing the anxieties of modern life. Having toured with The Ocean last year, and after receiving rave reviews, their much-anticipated new album, »The Worrier«, sees that tension become more pronounced and more dimensional than ever. The band retains the raw, volatile energy that has defined their sound, while opening the music towards post-hardcore and metalcore, introducing a greater emphasis on melody, vocal interplay and memorable song structures that enhance their intensity.

Reflecting on the meaning behind the album title, vocalist/guitarist Sarp Keski explains:

“I wanted to choose this title because somehow it represents the general idea of the album. The struggles of life, the mental side of trying to survive; depression, anger, empathy and sympathy all together. Most of our songs are based on our life experiences. I want to present the raw feelings that we all have, trying to survive this life and to make a connection with people who feel the same.”

On »The Worrier«, the addition of clean vocals expands Bipolar Architecture’s sonic palette. Sarp Keski’s characteristic harsh delivery is complemented by clean vocals from bassist Niklas Arnet and guitarist Stefanos Kaisaris, adding deeper vocal layers and memorable melodic parts while retaining the rough, volatile energy that defines the band’s sound.

“This new addition of clean vocals has given me so much perspective that I could not introduce to the sound before.” says Sarp Keski. “I think it progressed the song-writing phase in a different way. I wanted to keep the whole raw and frenzy atmosphere of our sound, but to add these deep vocal layers on it along with some memorisable vocal parts that are hard to achieve with only brutal/screaming vocals.”

»The Worrier« is a record that preserves Bipolar Architecture’s intensity whilst giving it greater range. Its three-way vocal interplay, layered guitars, forceful rhythm section and increasingly post-hardcore/metalcore-oriented songwriting represent a significant step forward for the band. Above all, the album sounds like four musicians pushing towards the same emotional idea, converging and balancing the hypnotic and the novel, serving both the longtime fans and giving an accessibility that will surely hook new listens.

The album will be out February 19, 2027, via Pelagic Records and is available for pre-order HERE.
