Crimson Roots are a blues rock, progressive and psychedelic rock band from Nuremberg, Germany.
»Open Roads« draws deeply from the blues to create expansive, evocative music in which progressive structures and psychedelic tones blend with emotion and storytelling. Their sound spans the genres of soul, psychedelic, and blues rock.
»Open Roads« is a concept album about movement, change, and the search for meaning. It follows a traveling figure – who could be a single person, many people, the listener, or even the band itself – on a journey through uncertainty, collapse, resistance, and renewal. Each song is a separate chapter in this journey, in which inner and outer movement constantly mirror one another.
