The journey to completing this richly resonant production took the band through a veritable asteroid belt of personal setbacks and technical near-disasters, which the core crew of the stoner orbiter – comprising Matthias “Hazi” Wettstein on guitar, Marcus “Mudge” Schnitzler on drums and Ekhard “Akee” Kazmaier on bass – and yet, thanks to the motto set out at the outset, it became yet another milestone on the journey towards the perfected, unmistakable The Spacelords sound – nirvana.
