German sludge/doom metal band Karatschai releases new single »Radiant Cross«

Berlin, Germany based sludge/doom metal band Karatschai premiere a brand new single »Radiant Cross«, released on September 11th, 2026.

Formed from the fallout of a previous unnamed stoner-doom project founded by Danny (currently of Vold) and later joined by Stefan Matussek (Sowa, Single Malt Therapy), Karatschai’s radioactive sludge emerged in late 2019/early 2020.

The band is now a 4-piece with David (ex-Albez Duz, Gapo, Cromlech) on bass and Joel (Metall) on vocals. Since 2024 666tin (Sowa, Esel) has taken up drum duty.

All music written and performed by Karatschai.
Recorded live in June 2026 by Karatschai at the Eselysium, Berlin.
