Marburg, Germany based stoner/blues rock trio Apewards stream their fourth studio album, »Liminal Choices«, which was just released on May 23rd, 2025 via Tonzonen Records.

Apewards is the creative metropolis of desert rock, the freshly washed jeans of blues rock, the unmistakable alternative and the sunrise in the Psychedelic universe. The power trio from Marburg starts songwriting where others stop. Instead of turning back time, they destroy time itself and let the best happen at once: Pounding rhythms and tons of riffs provide the canvas for catchy vocal melodies.

Says the band: “Our fourth album, »Liminal Choices«, comes on red half-transparent vinyl, wrapped in vibrant cover art.

This is a 100% analogue record: there has been no digitalisation between the microphones that recorded our performances and the grooves on your vinyl. The recording, mixing, and mastering were done on tape and then transfered directly from tape to the vinyl master.”
