»Phantom Vibrations« is the name given to the phenomenon when you think your cell phone is buzzing – but it was just your imagination. A classic medical hallucination. Here it becomes clear how mental and physical perception merge and hardly any distinction is made between reality and imagination, body and mind, thoughts and feelings.

Communication, digital or in real life, is a theme that preoccupies Kaskadeur – which already appeared in the title »Uncanny Vally« on the previous debut album.

Recorded in the former Tempelhof Airport by Ingo Kraus, who had already worked in the legendary Conny Plank Studio. In the musty corridors, where once the American secret service sat, was recorded and mixed. Between oldschool analog equipment and the latest computer editing. There the herb sprouts from all tracks. A heavy colorful trip?

Definitely. Characterized by fun and unbridled enthusiasm, but still thoughtful and profound. An album that shimmers and fascinates in all colors! And we like to lean way out there, this is going to be big… or in the end we just got it wrong.

The album is contemporary and fresh. This is how rock music should sound nowadays. Full of hope and confidence. Prog vs pop vs rock. Heavy guitars, crazy Hammond and keyboard parts, big choirs, catchy melodies. Filigree, skillful, yet loose and full of pop appeal.

Engineered and recorded by Ingo Krauss at Candy Bomber Studio, Berlin.
Mixed by Maximilian Wörle, Augsburg.
Mastered by Dennis Kern at Studio Wong, Berlin.
