Kassel, Germany based stoner/punk rock trio Holz share a music video for the track »Nacht« from their upcoming self-titled debut album, which will be released on November 18th, 2022 via Tonzonen Records.

Somewhere at zero point, where the heat tastes like embers and the retina sparks, someone poured gasoline on the fire. It groans, creaks and hisses. Holz (“wood” in German) burns. Holz, on the other hand, reduce the whole thing to rubble. Holz is stoner, punk, grunge. Somewhere between Queens Of The Stone Age, Kyuss and Melvins. And yet they are – of course – quite different from the others. Also because of the German lyrics.

They describe familiar situations, everyday feelings without overly defining them, are full of well-known reflections on the world, everyday miniatures about the oddities of life. So don’t believe what other people tell you. better listen.

The sound? Is gnarly and loves madness. Want to explode. Anyone have a light? Founded in 2011, eventually imploded, now back.
