Lucerne, Switzerland based progressive/post-rock band Gob Ribbons premiere the second part of their concept album »Imparted«, entitled »Imparted II: The Delian Diver«, which was just released today, October 17th, 2022.

»Imparted II: The Delian Diver« is the second part of the concept album »Imparted« (2022). It concludes the journey started with »Imparted I: The Age Of Comparison«. The EP also features the single »Galina« which is visualized by an AI-generated music video. A diffusion based algorithm created mind-bending drawings based on lyrics and additional text input.

Dynamic compositions and authentic arrangements, both dreamy and expressive. Gob Ribbons take their time to let a song sink in and take you on a journey through cognition and emotion. The band experiments with different facets of the genres post and progressive rock and with Imparted they present an album full of ever-changing soundscapes sure to captivate the listener.

Gob Ribbons unify post-rock, progressive metal and stoner rock to a unique concoction. Their debut album »Imparted« offers richly layered instrumental passages, complex arrangements, atmospheric harmonies and vocals with a lot of emotional and stylistic variety. They have developed their style since their first EP »Attain – Maintain« that was released in 2019 and their first place at central Switzerland’s largest contest fornemerging bands called Sprungfeder in 2018. They present ambient soundscapes, crossover-riffs and funky grooves. Gob Ribbons have found their sound. Their creative journey is far from over though, it has only just begun.
