A Monkey Shine’s debut album is a sonic journey of observation, existential questioning, memories and storytelling.

Its lyrical approach is based on personal experiences, patience, friendship, the search for social and self-awareness as well as love and loss.

Musically diverse and focused on the constant, lifelong altering state of the human mind and body, »Altered State« tries to challenge the notion of change.
