Greek alternative rock/grunge band Gus Seventy Seven released their third full-length album »Nine Paths In One Direction«

Kozani, Greece based alternative rock/grunge band Gus Seventy Seven is back with their third full-length album, »Nine Paths In One Direction«, which was just released on May 13th, 2025.

Gus Seventy Seven is a grunge rock band from Kozani-Karditsa, Greece. The band consists of members Socratis Valeras (vocals), Panos Pritsas (vocals), Kostas Paraschis (guitars, bass guitar), Chris Koutroulis (guitar) and Sakis Spiropoulos (drums). Established in 2011 and they self – released their first 8 track studio album named »Tramp« in September 2012. On April 30, 2022 they self-released their second studio album named »The Early Days« and contains 10 tracks.

On May 13, 2025, the third album called »Nine Paths In One Direction« was released online, which will contain nine tracks, two of which are covers of Soundgarden – »Ty Cobb« and Alice In Chains – »Again«. The album was recorded over the last two years, is quite melancholic and musically is quite influenced by the 90s and specifically by the Seattle scene. It emphasizes lyrically on topics such as depression, loss, drug addiction, self-esteem, the effort to be yourself, but also on politics.

Musically it ranges from slow to fast. This album is simply the externalization of our love for music and our inner need to create. The composition of the band has changed over the years and the whole project has become more personal.
