Morphing Jar is a power trio alternative rock/metal band from Athens, Greece. It all started in the summer of 2020, when two friends decided to form a grunge band, but mostly as a side project since its founders were playing in other bands as well.

When the Covid-19 outbreak took place and the whole world was in self quarantine, they took advantage of the situation and turned the idea, from a side project that was jamming to Nirvana and Alice In Chains, to a band with a twisted influnce, from 90s grunge sound to metal, sludge, acoustic based ballads and more.

Their debut full-length concept album, »Ink Stained Days«, mainly talks about the psychological stages from teenage years to adulthood and losing yourself but finding it back stronger while the personal and social issues “hits”.

Having performed in the majority of Athen’s local stages, and also in Patras, Morphing Jar aims to appear in as many festivals and cities in Greece and long term in Europe as possible.
