Athens, Greece based atmospheric doom/post-metal project Cenozoa stream their new EP, »Dark Matter«, which just dropped on December 25th, 2022.

Cenozoa is a musical project rooted in post and doom metal, with black metal elements delivered with lush atmospheres and soundscapes.

Cenozoa’s Owlgriever says: “2023 will be the year I will make Cenozoa stuff available to all streaming services through Distrokid, starting 25th December with »Dark Matter«.

I know a lot of you use the streaming platforms, and even though I am aware of their flaws and how they treat artists, I cannot ignore the fact that listeners engage in them more and discover new artists. It’s a major convenience these days, so I thought about all of you and decided to give you the whole experience.

On the 25th of December, in the heart of the coldest season, we celebrate the Winter in our hearts, the coldness of Space, the harshness of the North and the Aurora burning the sky with colours, signalling the frost, but also marking the beginning of longer days. A perfect time for a dark and atmospheric offering.

Let the Sun set for a while and take an expanding, textural but also crushing journey with us, through four tracks, connected as always. Through the ice we arise.”
