Athens, Greece based doom/gothic metal duo Aeons In Solitude has announced their second album, entitled »Black Lumina«, which will be released on May 15th, 2026 via Soman Records.

Aeons In Solitude is a metal band from Athens, Greece, formed by vocalist and composer Alex Roussos in May 2016. It all started as a solo project, but later turned into a full band in May 2018. Their debut album, entitled »Mourning Cloak« was released on April 22th, 2020 via Rock Company (NL). Its sound consists of doom/gothic metal with progressive elements. It was recorded, mixed and mastered at Fragile Studio in Athens by Vangelis Yalamas.

Now, the band’s second album entitled »Black Lumina« is scheduled to be released on May 15th, 2026 by Soman Records (FR). Its sound shifts towards gothic rock and darkwave, moving away from its doom metal roots while retaining a strong sense of darkness and melancholy, now expressed through atmospheric textures, synth-driven elements and a more introspective tone.
