Cenozoa is a musical project rooted in post and doom metal, with black metal elements delivered with lush atmospheres and soundscapes.

“It’s winter again. Yet this one is different. This is the last winter of humanity. A kind that destroyed itself was waiting the impending climate change, the overheating of the planet. Yet fate wanted otherwise. As nuclear catastrophe strikes, it leaves behind a frozen world forever covered in many layers of ice, an eternal »Permafrost«. This album serves as a tour to the crumbling structures of Civilization and the landscapes left scarred by war, as well as a warning to worldwide nuclear weapons operators.

Written when I was more isolated than ever, »Permafrost« also describes metaphorically the loss of many people throughout my life, a dark and solitary offering. Connencting the elements to one’s psyche is a challenging feat, and I’m glad I pulled it off.” – The Owlgriever
