Dorian Shroom are a band from Xanthi, Greece, on tour to share their not-so-pure 70’s rock’n’roll vibes with everyone. Their debut, 100% D.I.Y. album »Nothing Is Sacred« was just released. They wink at any genre that can shake people up and enjoy participating in scheduled live stage demolitions here and there.

They show up wasted and vexed, and will force you to dance along to their grooves. Dorian Shroom were cooked up in 2018 at Xanthi Students Cultural Association “The Bridge” Music Club’s studio, by five feisty musicians who love music just a little too much.

They would tell you what their name means and how they came up with it, but are sure you are in for a much better time, if you think about it yourself. They would also tell you what genre they play, but they think that’s a great way to distance people from listening to their music. In vague terms, they sound like whatever can be played with drums, bass, a couple of guitars and vocals. They like to think they’d fit right in living in the 70’s, but they don’t say it out loud. One of them loves REM, another one Maiden, one has a home shrine to Jethro Tull and the other guy to Socrates, while the fifth seriously digs In Flames, but who each one is isn’t really important.

The thing is that they just unleashed their debut 100% D.I.Y. full album, titled »Nothing Is Sacred«, and they are out to demolish a live stage somewhere near you.
