Kokkinià is a band that formed sometime during 2018 in Nikea, a suburb of Piraeus, Greece. From early on, their uniqueness in regards to sound and composition became apparent; their individual musical influences as well as the desire of each member in putting those ideas into practice, led them into heavy and progressive rock territory; somewhere off the beaten track.

In 2022 their first hit single, »Tromos/Thyella«, was presented, and a few months later their very first album, »The Last Are Lost From The List«, was independently released on every digital platform, to raving reviews. Later on, in 2024 another single hit the internet charts, »Arboreal«, signaling a point of divergence for the band; an event horizon upon which their approach changed its shape.

Fast-forward to 2025, the band is finally able to make its long-standing dream a reality; via the assistance and invaluable advice of the French record label Bitume, their debut album is soon to take on its first physical form and be released in CD format.

The band continues to tour and record, further exploring their aspiration to develop distinct soundscapes and concepts, notions and impressions, in order to reach and inspire more people.

Rising from the concrete labyrinth of Piraeus Kokkinia district, the eponymous Greek heavy prog rock outfit has released their explosive debut album, »The Last Are Lost From The List«; a haunting exploration of fractured identity and social unrest that merges seismic riffs with poetic existential inquiry. Combining gritty post-punk energy, psychedelic experimentation, and raw lyrical vulnerability, the album reflects the dissonance of modern Greek culture and society.

The album, with the two singles (»Tromos/Thyella« and »Arboreal«), will be available from June 27th on CD digipack and all streaming platforms via the Bitume Prods label.
