Athens, Greece based melodic doom/death metal band Ocean Of Grief premiere new single and music video »Ghosts Inside«, released on March 7th, 2025.

Featuring current and former members of On Thorns I Lay, Shattered Hope, Föhn & Demoralize.

Says the band: “After 2 years of musical silence, we can now share »Ghosts Inside«, the first song with our new vocalist Niklas Göransson!

This is a moment we were all waiting for as it marks a new era for the band with a new album already in the works!

A video full of melancholy, despair and atmosphere was created by Olga Kann, offering a unique perspective that fits like a glove to our music! Thank you very much for this Olga!

Ocean of Grief’s melodic doom/death dates back in 2016 in Athens, Greece, with their first musical endeavour, the »Fortress Of My Dark Self« EP, released by GS Productions, deeply influenced by the sound of Slumber, Enshine, Draconian and Saturnus. The gloomy but melancholic feeling of the EP, was followed by the self-released single »After A Long Time« and eventually the band’s first full-length album »Nigthfall’s Lament«, released by Rain Without End Records, diving even deeper into darkness and despair. The band has released their sophomore album, »Pale Existence« in 2023, with an even darker and more melodic tone, allowing the listener to get lost in somber but immersive soundscapes. 2025 finds the band releasing a new single while they work intensively for the new album!
