Fuzzing Nation is a heavy rock/stoner trio from Athens, Greece, formed in late 2022. What started as a spontaneous studio jam between three seasoned musicians became a band in it’s own right. What had been an informal session swiftly blew into life as a powerhouse of fuzz-sodden riffs, desert-driven grooves, and raw heavy rock energy.
Influenced by Kyuss’ heat-baked sound, Fu Manchu’s groove-loaded drive, and the atmosphere of the early Palm Desert scene, Fuzzing Nation delivers a warm, gritty, and riff-focused style of stoner rock crafted for open roads and endless horizons.
The band’s discography began with their self-titled debut EP in 2023. Recorded live in the studio, it captures the raw energy and authenticity of their earliest sessions.
In 2024, they returned with »Into The Desert« an EP that showcased more refined songwriting and a broader sonic palette. The release earned notable acclaim, including an 8/10 rating from the Greek edition of Metal Hammer, cementing Fuzzing Nation as one of the most promising new acts on the Greek stoner/desert rock scene.
Their most ambitious chapter arrives in March 2026 with the worldwide release of the concept album »Mothertruck« via Argonauta Records. Across ten tracks, the album follows a dust-covered, mythic chase through the desert, with its final twist revealed only on the closing track… and maybe not…!!!
The band comments: “»Mothertruck« is a concept album that follows a journey in search of a legend, with the story unfolding track by track until the very last song, where everything finally comes together.
Musically, we wanted this record to capture the core of our sound while pushing it further than before. You’ll hear the desert vibe that defines Fuzzing Nation, massive fuzz-driven riffs and heavy groove foundations, but also more atmospheric moments that give the songs space to breathe.
At the same time, we didn’t hold back from bringing in raw, explosive touches of punk and hardcore energy. Those elements create strong dynamics throughout the album, moving from hypnotic grooves to aggressive, high-energy bursts.
For us, »Mothertruck« is our most complete and multidimensional record so far, a true reflection of where the band stands right now.”
On stage, Fuzzing Nation build a thick, driving wall of fuzz: pounding desert-style drums, heavy low-end grooves, and riffs that roll like heatwaves. Their live shows feel like a long ride under the blazing sun – high-energy, hypnotic, and unmistakably desert-born. Their dedicated fanbase, known as the “Mothertruckers”, continues to grow.
With their signing to Argonauta Records and the upcoming release of »Mothertruck«, Fuzzing Nation are gearing up for an expanded run of live shows across Greece and Europe. Armed with heavier riffs, louder amps, and a sound soaked in desert dust, the band is ready to carve its path through the global stoner rock scene.
