Carved In Blood is a fierceful, intense and energetic melodic death metal band from Västervik, Sweden. The four-piece just released their debut album »Throughout An Ancient Ride« independently on July 19th, 2024.
When Carved In Blood took it’s roots it all started with the concept of authenticity and a strong force of intensity. The name itself is a metaphor, to carve your own path in life with perserverance and the understanding of self. The meaning behind the name is in other words, sacrifice. Sacrifice is something as we see it, something profound. A fierce, intense and melodic primeval power shines through Carved In Blood. With inspiration from norse mythology and from the older era this is something that reflects within the lyrical and musical aspects of the creations.
