Centerfold are a 4-piece heavy-alternative band based out of Liverpool taking inspiration from the likes of Rage Agaist The Machine, Radiohead and Royal Blood. They have gathered a strong and dedicated fanbase through their high-energy live shows across the UK as well as several viral videos with upwards of 4 million views showcasing their music. Having enjoyed extensive radio-play across the world, the band aim to combine elements of all their influences, creating a unique and three-dimensional take on the genre.

The band began releasing music in September 2023 with their debut singles »Rewrite Your Time« and »Changing World«, receiving critical acclaim. After taking some time to lock themselves away and develop their writing style, the band went into the studio to record their debut EP. From that time came the band’s most popular singles to date: »Last Dance«, »Drowning« and »Trust Issues«. The band released their self-titled debut EP in October 2024.

Centerfold’s highly anticipated new single »The Sting« was released on February 28th, 2025. Following the success of their debut EP, »The Sting« marks an exciting evolution in the band’s sound. While their debut explored expansive sonic landscapes and displayed a group still finding their footing, »The Sting« sees Centerfold take a bold step forward. The track channels the raw energy of hardcore-punk influences like Turnstile, while also showcasing the band’s growing confidence. It is their first self-produced track, marking a significant milestone as they embrace complete creative control.

Described as a “shock grenade of a song,” »The Sting« combines fast-paced, aggressive guitar riffs with lyrics that challenge the listener’s grip on reality. The song is a relentless sonic barrage, designed to overwhelm and energize, capturing the intensity of Centerfold’s live shows.

“We love playing this one live,” the band explains. “The pace is brutal – it feels like being beaten up for three minutes. And since it’s our first fully self-produced track, it’s the first time we’ve been able to capture the raw energy of our live performances in the studio.”

Having quickly gained a reputation for their hard-hitting sound and sense of humour, Centerfold has earned recognition as one of the most exciting emerging acts in the UK. With over 50,000 streams of their debut EP and airplay on major rock and metal stations like Planet Rock, the band’s growing fanbase is testament to their unique blend of music and personality.
