Devastator is a four-piece black/thrash/speed metal band from Derbyshire, UK.
Expanding on the raucous black ‘n’ roll attitude of Devastator’s debut »Baptised In Blasphemy« and turning up the black metal to cacophonous levels, new album »Conjurers Of Cruelty« differs in many aspects without losing the spirit and power of the band’s debut, harnessing other avenues in extreme metal and presenting a multilayered and expansive record which explores both black metal and death metal, whilst still delivering the furious thrash metal assault and NWOBHM drenched force that the band has become known for.
Formed in 2017, UK’s Devastator signed a one-album deal with the UK-based indie label Clobber records in 2020 and would go on to release their debut album »Baptised In Blasphemy« to strong critical acclaim in the press across five continents.
Long out of print and sold out, The band’s debut album is now re-released entirely remastered with new artwork and 8 bonus tracks on the CD version and the new and 2nd album followed in early spring 2024 all on Listenable Records.
