Macabro (Black/Speed/Thrash Metal // Brazil)
“A journey into the concepts of self-determination, autonomy and freedom.”
Macabro is a black/speed/thrash metal band from São Paulo, Brazil.
Formed in 2022 by Naum Prado (bass), Ruan Pablo (vocals), Uriel Franco (drums) and Gui Disanti (guitar), Macabro is combining aspects of punk, speed metal and metalpunk.
The band carries strong messages of social revolt, giving voice to the protest of the working class. Their lyrics explore themes of anarchy, anti-imperialism, freedom, and Satanism. The song titles, the distorted, fast, and melodically aggressive sound: everything expresses the chaotic cry of rebellion.
In 2023, they released their debut album: »Mensageiros do Caos« (Messengers Of Chaos) with 12 original tracks, an energetic sound, and strong influences from bands like Inepsy and Motörhead.
